Shake It Up and Take It Off: My Hatred of the Clothing Choices on the Disney Show

The "hit" Disney T.V. show 'Shake It Up' is supposed to be a story following two teenage girls, Rocky and Cece, as they live life between high school and dance on the T.V. show, Shake It Up, Chicago.

Now let me get this straight.

They don't exactly dance on this T.V. show. It's what I would call synchronized prancing while waving their hands in strange dance-like movements.

All of my hatred aside, the reason why this show isn't a hit like the older show  they seemed to base this off of, That So Raven, is because of the stupid, overused jokes that they do every two to five seconds.

Oh, and the fact they can't dance.

Don't get me wrong, it must be hard to dance in three layers of clothes with heels on, right?

The reason why I can't stand this show is because whenever I watch it I get a blazing head ache. Probably because of the synchronized prancing in such bright, different colors.

The show's characters love bright colors that punch you in the face.

Both the characters wears is crop tops, but because this is a G-rated show I suppose they has to wear two or three layers under that crop top to keep the parents happy.

The costume designers have great garments. They just put them together in atrocious ways that burn your eyes out of your skull. It literally kills me.

I guess they got the memo as of 2013 that the only people who actually liked their outfits were little girls aged 10-10 1/2. So they changed their style up to something an ACTUAL teenager would wear. I don't know if their outfits and style choices are new, like this little ensemble here or if they are still rolling with their ugly clothing style from before.

All I know is too many colors + too many prints+ bad acting+ bad singing+bad dancing= a really terrible show (even for Disney).

Fashion Faux Pas

Lately, I've been getting into fashion and the world in which this word is surrounded. I don't know what has gotten over me, but I find this newfound love has taken over my life. This blog is purely to express my taste in this word and what it entails. I'm just warning you guys. Many fashions faux pas may be hit right on the head with this one.

But isn't that good?

To step out of the box with fashion instead of taking two steps further in.

I don't know.

I'm new here.
